Favorite Wedding Quotes

November 15, 2011 By: admin Category: Love, Wedding

It is common knowledge that there are many magnificent and remarkable words about love and wedding written by different famous people – artists, musicants, poets there. But there are some of them I love the most.

Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind
Love is not love that alters when it alteration finds.
If thou remember not the slightest folly into which loves hast made thee run, though hast not loved.
But love is blind and lovers cannot see the pretty follies that themselves commit; for if they could, Cupid himself would blush to see me thus transformed to a boy.
If music be the food of love, play on.
Love asks me no questions, and gives me endless support…
So dear I love him that with him, all deaths I could endure. Without him, lives no life.
To me, fair friend, you never can be old, for as you were when first your eyes I eyed, such seems your beauty still.

May 05, 2011 By: admin Category: Love, Wedding

Marie Osmond remarried her first husband, Stephen Craig, 54, in Las Vegas on Wednesday, more than 25 years after they divorced:-) They married in 1982 and divorced in 1985. Such situation is so rare that it’s hard to find the similar one in history of marriages. Anyway it’s great that feelings may be evolved through the years. Also she put on the same Ret Turner wedding dress that she wore during her first marriage ceremony.

“I am so happy and look forward to sharing my life with Stephen, who is an amazing man as well as a great father to my children,” Osmond told People.
She had one son with Craig, and seven children with her second husband, Brian Blosil. That marriage ended in 2007 after almost 20 years. Osmond’s brother, Donny, who was at the wedding, described it as “a last minute thing … Not very many people knew about it,” he told Entertainment Tonight.

“It was a perfect Cinderella story with a fairytale ending. They were sealed together again, forever,” he added.

So, they’re back and the “Sex and the City” is still a hit. The premiere was held on May, 24 at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall, and the red carpet was bursting with high style. And the four main actresses didn’t disappoint their adoring, style-savvy public: each of them, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon.

Cynthia, in London for the first premiere of “Sex and the City,” told The Mirror that she would love to marry Christine: “It’s something my girlfriend is interested in and it was not something my boyfriend ever was.

I think that to get married to her would be a little act of rebellion. It’s like if you’ve never had the vote and then you get it you’re going to run out there and vote.”

She also said that she’s never been in love with a woman before, , “I had been with men all my life and I had never met a woman I had fallen in love with before. But when I did, it didn’t seem so strange. I don’t define myself. I’m just a woman in love with another woman.”

Sex related injuries

May 10, 2010 By: admin Category: Dating, Happy Love Story, Jokes, Love

According Telegraph as many as 40 per cent only realised they were injured the morning after because they were overcome with passion and did not notice it at the time.

Five per cent of people have had to take time off work because of sex related injuries.

Two per cent had even been left with broken bones while others suffered bruised shoulders, twisted knees, sprained ankles or wrists and bent back fingers.

Despite the upholstery, the sofa proved to be the riskiest place to have sex – mainly because of the number of wine glasses and plates left lying around during passionate nights in.

Unsurprisingly, stairs were the second most dangerous place for lovemaking ahead of the family car and the shower. Other hazardous locations included chairs, the kitchen table, the lavatory and office cupboards.

One in 10 people said they or their partner had fallen off the bed during sex and one in 50 said they had fallen off a washing machine during the act.

Would You Kill For Love?

October 21, 2009 By: admin Category: Love

‘Life is pain and the enjoyment of love is an anesthetic’, Italian poet, Cesare Pavese said. So, if the one you wanted and loved the most was taken by someone else as quickly as the speed of light, would you kill for love? What is love for you? Is it the thing you are really believe in?

‘One does not kill oneself for love of a woman, but because love – any love – reveals us in our nakedness, our misery, our vulnerability, our nothingness’.

The Story of My Life

August 07, 2009 By: admin Category: Celebrity, Divorce, Love, Music

“The Winner Takes It All”, originally titled “The Story of My Life”, was written by both Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson, with Fältskog singing the lead vocal. The lyrics to the song were thought to mirror the divorce between Ulvaeus and Fältskog in 1979. However, Ulvaeus himself denies this, saying the basis of the song “is the experience of a divorce, but it’s fiction. There wasn’t a winner or a loser in our case. A lot of people think it’s straight out of reality, but it’s not”.

The vise of this famous song you can find easily on You Tube, the lyrics is here:

I dont wanna talk
About the things weve gone through
Though its hurting me
Now its history
Ive played all my cards
And thats what youve done too
Nothing more to say
No more ace to play

The winner takes it all
The loser standing small
Beside the victory
Thats her destiny

I was in your arms
Thinking I belonged there
I figured it made sense
Building me a fence
Building me a home
Thinking Id be strong there
But I was a fool
Playing by the rules

The gods may throw a dice
Their minds as cold as ice
And someone way down here
Loses someone dear
The winner takes it all
The loser has to fall
Its simple and its plain
Why should I complain.

But tell me does she kiss
Like I used to kiss you?
Does it feel the same
When she calls your name?
Somewhere deep inside
You must know I miss you
But what can I say
Rules must be obeyed

The judges will decide
The likes of me abide
Spectators of the show
Always staying low
The game is on again
A lover or a friend
A big thing or a small
The winner takes it all

I dont wanna talk
If it makes you feel sad
And I understand
Youve come to shake my hand
I apologize
If it makes you feel bad
Seeing me so tense
No self-confidence
But you see
The winner takes it all
The winner takes it all.
