Jon and Kate Gosselin Divorce
Jon and Kate Gosselin announced their official separation after 10 years of marriage and four weeks into the current season of the popular reality show, CNN reports.
“Over the course of this weekend, Jon’s activities have left me no choice but to file legal procedures in order to protect myself and our children,” she said in a statement released by TLC on Tuesday.
“While there are reasons why it was appropriate and necessary for me to initiate this proceeding, I do not wish to discuss those reasons at this time, in the hope that all issues will be resolved amicably between Jon and myself.”
Regarding their eight children Jon Gosselin said, that ” they are still my number one priority.”
“I love them and want to make sure they stay happy, healthy and safe,” he said in a TLC statement.

“Following a retrospective of Jon and Kate’s first 10 years airing on June 29th, the show will be on hiatus until August 3rd,” the network said. “During this time the family will take some time off to regroup and then a modified schedule will be in place to support the family’s transition.”

“This will be a difficult transition for all of us, but Kate and I will work out a schedule that enables our kids to have plenty of quality time with both of us at home in Pennsylvania,” Jon Gosselin said in Tuesday’s statement.
“In terms of my marriage, it’s no secret that the past six months or so have been very difficult for Kate and me. We are no different than other couples and parents who are facing a crossroads in their marriage. I am of course deeply saddened that we are divorcing.”

I have so much respect for Kate, She is a very strong woman. I can only try to be like her. She is a hard working mother of 8 and she holds herself with grace and class. Kate if you see this just know that I along with alot of women are rooting for you, just keep your head up and keep kicking butt! you are a good example to mothers around the world, keep conquering cause you have so much support. 1reality tv???????? NOT It doesn’t exist. Who cares about Joe and Kitty and their 8 kids? I only pray that the parents frind a way to get it together and get their heads out of the clouds and do right by their family.
2Way too much importance of Jon/Kate. WHO THE HECK CARES? I have never watched a reality show completely, …nor will I ever! Life is interesting and challenging enough without taking on someone else’s baggage.
3This is probably the worst thing for the kids but definitely the best thing in the world for John. Good for you buddy. Kate’ll be miserable if she won the lottery; there’s nothing you can do for a person such as that. Maybe they can reconcile, probably not though. Let’s all wish them well and hope the kids don’t turn out to be jacked up members of society.
